1984 has come to 2010 literally, at least in the law-focused religious camp of Big Brothers who are now watching YOU.   Forget the hallelujahs and praising god in sweet song.   Your mission (should you decide to accept it) has become much more exciting and dramatic!  Now, warrior of god, you can role play in real life using active surveillance of “the enemy”, stir up local unrest against the evil non-Christians in your community and send your cruise missles to destroy their businesses and families!   Pressure is the key here and speading the fear of detection.  The Army of God creates Google Maps of  ”enemy target locations” such as gay events, Earth Day, “false” religions, Planned Parenthood, palm readers, porn shops, “idolatry” locations, pagan and witch events, rock concerts,  and Halloween events.   We might expect them to send proseletyzers to pass out tracts and evangelize.   They are certainly free to do so in America.  Where this steps over those lines into the realm of harassment and invasion of privacy is when patrons of the events are identified and are threatened to be outted to their community and family.

A current example of this kind of attack on people’s personal lives was related to me by a resident of Texas.  A local preacher, instead of appealing to his city council,  is on a crusade to destroy all the adult-based and other events unpopular in the eyes of their Christian morality.  The Texas man commented on Repent Amarillo : “…their “spiritual stormtroopers” will begin taking pictures of people and naming names to spouses, businesses and bosses, etc.
Actually this is occurring where I live, some preacher is on a mission to eradicate all of the adult oriented businesses, by setting in the parking lot with a camera taking pictures of car licenses, and people – and then mailing the pictures to the persons home addressed to the spouse…”

This zealot preacher may not want to be so vocal regarding his tactics, or he may find himself on the end of a lawsuit for invasion of privacy or character assassination.

If soldiering is not to your liking, you can serve in espionage duty, posing as an undercover represenative at city council meetings.  The wording used on the Repent Amarillo site of their strategy and tactics reek of the promise of terrorism and militaristic imitation.  ”Many of the smaller missions … may involve more aggressive use of soldiers… Some other missions occasionally employed may be “undercover operations” where the groups show up together but are not publicly visible together to effect the outcome of a public meeting such as city commissioners meetings, etc.”

The emulation of a police state intended to force their morality upon others, create censorship and diminish freedoms is for the Al Quida, dictatorship governments and the Third Reich, not for those representing a religion that claims to be based on peace and love, nor for citizens of an America whose foundation is the respect for individual liberty and freedom of choice.

1.) Satan

In this area, the Satanic paradigm is superior and contrasts with the religions which are resistant to change.
Here is where the current conceptions of Christianity and Islam part company on the ideas of new and independent thought.  Both ignore the fact that each of their religions and ideas about god and man were the product of new and independent thought in its time.  Both were considered a new cult upon their inception.  They forget that even though they claim that their new, written revelations came from god, humans had to receive, process and interpret them through the mind.  Even if they rationalize this by saying that they received god’s thoughts, the reception and interpretation still relies upon the mind of humans.  Because of this almost blindness to facts, schisms cause a split in the church body, dividing into another sect due only because a new thoughts occur on the interpretation of scripture and its focus of application.  In the new and old church, this frequently produces the byproduct of both denouncing the other as wrong and against the religion that produced them both.
   Diane reminded me, and I agree with her that this same rejection of new thought causes the same type of division and demonizing of other sects in Satanism that this creates in Christianity.
   So who is right and who is wrong?  Can there be a criteria for deciding this?  I believe there is.  A religion or church that becomes so hidebound that it cannot tolerate or withstand new thought is on its way to becoming either a dinosaur or a dictatorship.The major problem I see is when such a religion becomes widespread and manifests as a major social and political force which endeavors to turn our government into a theocracy or at the least to cause lawmaking to be influenced by their limited sense of morality and “truth”.

In this sense, even a deity that produces chaos might be preferred for its influence in disturbing anything that becomes too stable and fixed.  Even if the mind becomes confused for a time, that confusion seeks to reform into order.  Pan and his often chaotic music would be an inspiration that lures by a different drummer and into new horizons of creative thought.  The sense of abandon in his music is an example of how we proceed to entertain and develop new ideas with courage and daring, despite the former status quo.

The Christian and Islamic paradigms are so focused on their books that tell them what to do, they are reduced to a low status of functionality. They have placed a restraining order on their thoughts.  I say, that obedience is for dogs and children.  Once you develop a society regarding what is expected behavior of its people, this only sets the stage where one can live and operate with as consistent safety.  One example of this was in the society of ancient Greece from which sprang the world’s greatest philosophers.  Once a secure and sensible government was in place without any state or dominating religion to confine it, new thought was free to create in leaps and bounds.  However, even the greatness of Greece showed its eventual entrapment in stagnant thought, which can be seen in the life and death of Socrates who challenged everyone to think outside their box.  Or perhaps Socrates pushed his point too hard and too quickly.  Free thought continued at its own rate in the well-respected philosophers, even up to the early church fathers such as Augustine and Aquinas, idolizing Aristote’s conceptions of the world and the supernal and using it to fill in the blanks in their own theological conceptions.

There is a courage in Satan which I greatly respect.  That is described in the last paragraph of 1. Satan.  He encourages departures from dogma and the norm, tries what was thought to be firm and permanent such as laws which are not always so, subjecting them to the fire of criticism and interrogation. By this they are found to be firm enough of foundation whereupon to build further or to topple into ruin as a house of cards.

 The Hebrew Sacred Texts

 In this series of articles, I will be relating material on the nature and identity of Satan and his emanations.

Zoharian and Kabbalistic descriptions of the adversarial side of god have various names, some of which can be termed as emanations. In subsequent articles I will discuss further how Satan came about, who and what IT is and the various functions of ITs emanations as understood in the Hebrew sacred texts. I will begin with Satan’s part in ITs influence on human kind.

There are distinctions between the two Genesis accounts which describe the creation of the “two adams”. The first adam (man) is said to be “unensouled” and lord over the beasts. The name of the first adam is Nachash, the serpent AKA Satan/Samael. This may be similar in nature to the race of Djinn as in the Quran’s ha Satan who is described as the father of a race that is between gods and humans and can mate with humans, but according to Islam, they are not defined as angels since their elementary principle is fire. They can procreate and can be killed, are invisible to humans but can communicate with them.

 The second adam was created and his wife Eve who were ensouled (contained the breath/spirit of god). 

Nachash seduced Eve and she conceived two sons and two daughters. The sons are Cain and Abel, who do not appear in the biblical lineage of Adam since they are not his sons. Abel is considered a “half” son because he is the combination of two seeds, the first and second adam’s. The second Adamic line begins with Seth and proceeds through all the generations as described in the early books of the bible. In other articles we shall see how the seed of the first adam, Nachash, through Cain, is also displayed in the Adamic line. These descriptions of persons and events are not meant to be taken in the literal sense, as some of it relates to real events which occur in the spiritual or archetypal realm, perceived in dreams or visions, and how they relate either to each other or to man. Their relevance can be viewed as “spiritual genetics”, since it travels through bloodlines surviving and displayed as would physical traits in DNA. It should also be noted that the Hebrew mystics and Jews, as well as the Gnostics believed in reincarnation and the progression of the soul.

 This “bloodline of the serpent” discussed here should not be mistakenly equated with “Serpent Seed Doctrine” which is a theological premise for several sects such as Christian Identity which is white supremacist and racist or with Peter Peters Doctrines, a Church of Christ pastor, whose anti-gay hatred is over-shadowed only by that of Fred Phelps. Peters adds belief in the theories of New Age conspiracy theorist David Icke on shape-shifting lizard-men, tying this to the biblical references of reptiles. All of these hold the same beliefs as Christian Identity regarding the identity of the nation of Israel as being the serpent-men.
